Adventures in freakdom.

Alrighty.
Today, in lieu of a real entry, I’m taking a page of learnin’ from my wife and making a photo entry. Yesterday, we took a road trip to Joe Wheeler State Park for a semi-picnic lunch (composed of stopping at a Subway on the way over and eating it at a picnic table) and a gander at the dam.
You know, dams have all sorts of cool shit around them: locks, buildings, electrical things, generators, turbines, and so on. None of which I have a clue about, so I’m labelling things below like I see ‘em. If I’m wrong, just consider that you’re getting what you pay for.

The dam sign.

The dam end.

The dam lake.

The dam fishermen in the dam turbulence.

The dam.

The dam electrical stuff.

A dam butterfly that landed on the stair railing
as we were walking by.

A dam ivy-covered hillside sloping down to the dam lake.
Next time: how to put people to sleep in ten pictures or less.
Have a terrific Labor Day, Americans. Have a terrific Monday, everyone else.
