Adventures in freakdom.
For my final pre-op entry, I leave you with pictures, because my camera’s memory stick is full. I’ll catch you on the flip-side of surgery (when I feel like typing), assuming I don’t kick off on the table.

Two wild petunias, looking all purty.

What’s the story, morning glory?

Looking at the top of the Waterline Trail from the downslope of the
Wagon Trail. See why I like that trail so much? It pretty much goes straight
up that slope. It’s awesome.

Tiny orange flowers. As usual, I’ve no idea what they are.

A big warty toad pretends to ignore me on the Waterline Trail.

A member of the most evil spider species ever hangs around
on the side of our house, waiting to bite me.
Not any more.

A tick climbs my leg, looking for blood. He got thumped soundly.

A pretty yellow flower, the type of which I do not know.

A snail creeps along the forest floor.

Black-eyed Susans, everywhere!

A giant spider makes short work of a beetle.

Mister Boogers and Spanky share a pillow, but neither looks happy about it.

Looking up the rock staircase of the Waterline Trail,
just where it starts to get steep.

I managed to catch an in-flight picture of an iridescent green bug
(that’s the scientific name)

Our two new foster kitties, Jodie and Rambo, spoon and look a little guilty.

I found this tiny little box turtle last weekend on the “A” trail.
He sure was cute.

My favorite picture of the little guy. The full 5MP picture is here.
Please don’t steal my identity from my fingerprints in the big version.
I liked this one so much I submitted it for a Photoshopping contest on Fark.
It got greenlit, and if you click this link you can see what the warped
minds over there came up with for the little guy. There are some really good ones,
especially the animated turtle flip-phone.
Makes me wish I’d kept him for a pet.
That’s it for me. The next time you hear from me I’ll be one step closer to being the bionic man. If you don’t hear that I died on the table, assume I didn’t.
