Adventures in freakdom.
The only thing I can say definitively is this: there are at least three out of five.

Mama done good.
Give this two minutes, and I guarantee it will blow you away.
Update: All five hatched, woot!

OMG the cuteness!
You guys have little ones everywhere!
Also, the video was awesome. Still wiping tears away. Thanks!
Spring has sprung … again! Congratulations to all. Peep peep!
Keep an eye on your other chickens if you let them around the babies — they like to kill chicks.
It is definitely spring at Crooked Acres. You have new life alllllllllllll over the place there. The little chicks are so adorable. I love their markings…will they stay black and white or do they just look that way for now??
That video was awesome. Our church’s choir is fantastic and they always do a huge concert at Christmas that blows me away every year. I never leave there without tears flowing.
Keep posting the pics..I love living vicariously through you and Robyn!!
Cute babies!
Awesome choir!
Fred,
Do you know what church or event this choir sang for? And a date maybe?
Looks to be the 1980’s by the hairstyles going on-but just wondering.
Congrats on the brood of chicks-keep that hen-she’ll save you on your energy bill cuz she works for food and water alone.
Suzie, it’s the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, and I’m relatively sure it’s from the late 80’s. I used to listen to it in my car sometime in the ‘89 - ‘91 time frame, because it’s pretty spectacular on something more than crappy computer speakers.
The downside — probably because I’m old now — is that I can’t remember where I got it or what tape/CD it was on. I just remember what an awesome version of the song it is.
(the Handel’s Young Messiah CD from 1989 has another awesome version of the chorus, but I can’t find that video anywhere. I wish I still had my VHS tape. I did find this from it, though, which is still pretty damn good)
Those chicks are too freakin’ cute! Will the momma be as protective of them as the momma kittie is with her babies?
That video was awesome and I have to admit (no offense) that I was suprised to see a gosple song video from you!
Momma Chicken looks like she’s giving you the hard eye though Fred- don’t be botherin’ my babies now!
Been with you and Robyn since you were “ONEFATMAN.” Been with you and the misses through it all!!! Every season and year, better and better. Congrats on the new babies and the new crops. Back then; Whodathunkit!!!
Sammi
The most beautiful thing about that video is all the different colors and races of people that are present and singing together.
