So you’d like to get an update via email when I write a new entry?

You’re in the right place. I use Google Groups to maintain my notify list because they seem to do a good job at everything (I guess when your corporate motto is to be the best and to do no evil (see #6), you tend to have good products. And the fact that they’re free is pretty cool, too.

Anyway, to get on the notify list, you’ll have to create an account at Google. That way, you’ll have a username and password over there, so if (when?) you get tired of reading my pontifications, you can just go unsubscribe from the list without having to tell anyone. And lo, you won’t be bothered by emails from me again.

Since there’s been a little confusion about the Google account, listen up: you don’t need to be a Google Mail (gmail) user to get one; you can use your existing email account when you create your Google account. Matter of fact, I think you can even use your email address as your username over there if you want to.

That said, if you want to get emailed when I write an entry for this site, just click this link (opens in a new window or tab) to get on the list. You may have to create a Google account first, though, if you don’t already have one.

If you have any trouble at all getting on the list, don’t hesitate to email me and I can get you fixed right up. Really, I don’t bite. Not hard, anyway.
